The Sumner Stingrays triumphed over the visiting Freedom Patriots baseball squad by a score of 10-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Stingrays now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Bloomingdale for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 24. Sumner will clash with a Bulls team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Gaither (Tampa, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 13-2.

With the defeat, Freedom drops to 11-4 on the year. The Patriots host Wharton (Tampa, FL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 24. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 9-4. Wharton won 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Plant City (Plant City, FL)
