The Freedom Patriots nipped the visiting Riverview Sharks baseball team by a count of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sumner for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 18. Freedom will play a Stingrays team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Hillsborough (Tampa, FL). The Stingrays record now stands at 10-5.

With the defeat, Riverview drops to 5-10 on the year. The Sharks host Hillsborough (Tampa, FL) to battle the Terriers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 18.
