The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) and the host Quartz Hill Royals (Quartz Hill, CA), saw Saugus's baseball team gain a win over Quartz Hill by a tally of 16-9.

With the triumph, Saugus moves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Centurions travel to Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 28. The Cardinals come into the contest with a record of 1-3.

The Royals now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Adelanto for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 7.
