The Northview Chiefs overwhelmed the host Destin Sharks softball squad by a count of 18-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Chiefs meet the Orange Beach Makos (Orange Beach, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 27. Northview will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.

The Sharks (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Escambia (Pensacola, FL). The Gators go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Escambia toppled Pensacola Catholic (Pensacola, FL), 16-0, in a non-league outing.
