Vermont High School Basketball - Champlain Valley Union succumbs to Essex
February 27, 2023: Essex Junction, VT 05452 The Essex Hornets topped the visiting Champlain Valley Union Redhawks basketball team by a final score of 13-4 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Hornets face the St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 3. Essex will attempt to move on its 16-7 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the game with a 17-4 record after their 50-47 non-league win over Rutland (Rutland, VT).
With the defeat, Champlain Valley Union moves to 16-3 on the year.
