The Casteel Colts baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Corona del Sol Aztecs to 2 in the Colts non-league win on Thursday.

The Colts now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tolleson for a non-league test on Monday, March 3. Casteel will play a Wolverines team coming off a 5-5 non-league Mica Mountain (Tucson, AZ). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-2.

Next, the Aztecs face the O'Connor Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 4. Corona del Sol will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ).
