In Friday's league challenge, the Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) baseball team trounced the host Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA), by a count of 12-5.

The Longhorns now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Chattahoochee for a AAAAA Region 7 challenge on Monday, March 2. Lanier will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 10-4 league loss to Milton (Milton, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-6.
