Georgia High School Lacrosse - Pope can't get by Walton
February 28, 2022: Marietta, GA 30062 In Monday's league test, the visiting Walton Raiders lacrosse squad scored a tight 15-14 victory over the Pope Greyhounds.
The Raiders now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Blessed Trinity for a non-league test on Thursday, March 3. Walton will face a Titans squad coming off a 16-9 non-league win over Cambridge (Milton, GA). The Titans record now stands at 7-0.
In their next game, the Greyhounds face the Marietta Blue Devils (Marietta, GA) in a 6A-7A Area 4 test, on Thursday, March 3. Pope will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 10-8 non-league loss to North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA).
