March 16, 2022: Powder Springs, GA 30127 The Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA), 13-4 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Hillgrove upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Hawks travel to Newnan (Newnan, GA) to battle the Cougars in a 6A-7A Area 3 outing on Friday, March 18. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Newnan won 10-8 in their recent non-league outing against Northgate (Newnan, GA)
With the defeat, Pope drops to 6-4 on the season. The Greyhounds host Kell (Marietta, GA) to face the Longhorns in a 6A-7A Area 4 test on Thursday, March 17. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 4-3. Kell lost 17-9 in their recent non-league test against Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA)
