Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN) and the host East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN), saw Shelbyville's basketball squad hold off East Central by a tally of 54-47.

With the victory, Shelbyville improves its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Golden Bears travel to Whiteland (Whiteland, IN) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 9-14. Whiteland won 59-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Beech Grove (Beech Grove, IN)
