Indiana High School Basketball - East Central tops Rushville

January 6, 2023: Rushville, IN 46173

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) and the host Rushville Lions (Rushville, IN), saw East Central's basketball squad knock off Rushville by a count of 45-30.

With the victory, East Central upgrades its record to 1-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Ross (Hamilton, OH) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Ross won 59-43 in their recent league challenge against Edgewood (Trenton, OH)

Next up, the Lions play the Morristown Yellow Jackets (Morristown, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Rushville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 78-54 non-league loss to Triton Central (Fairland, IN).
