Jonesville Comets (Jonesville, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Reading Rangers (Reading, MI), 55-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Jonesville upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Napoleon (Napoleon, MI) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 2. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 19-1. Napoleon lost 58-34 in their recent non-league bout against Western (Parma, MI)

Next up, the Rangers play the Hanover-Horton Comets (Horton, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 2. Reading will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Comets come into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 53-52 league loss to Manchester (Manchester, MI).
