Reading Rangers (Reading, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Quincy Orioles (Quincy, MI), 42-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Reading upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Springport (Springport, MI) to play the Spartans in a Big 8 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 1-13. Springport lost 45-32 in their recent league bout against Union City (Union City, MI)

Next up, the Orioles play the Union City Chargers (Union City, MI) in a Big 8 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Quincy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 45-32 league win over Springport (Springport, MI).
