Alaska High School Basketball - Newhalen can't hold off Bristol Bay
February 28, 2024: Newhalen, AK 99606 The Bristol Bay Angels basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Newhalen Malamutes to 48 in the Angels non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Angels now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Koliganek for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 29. Bristol Bay will battle a Huskies team coming off a 66-57 league win over Togiak (Togiak, AK). The Huskies record now stands at 11-5.
