The South Johnston Trojans baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Midway Raiders to 2 in the Trojans non-league win on Friday.

The Trojans now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wake County HomeSchool for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4.

With the defeat, Midway drops to 1-1 on the year. The Raiders travel to Triton (Erwin, NC) to play the Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, March 3. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 2-1. Triton lost 14-13 in their recent non-league test against Lee County (Sanford, NC)
