The Corvian Community Cardinals basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals to 53 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now possess a 21-7 record. They play next when they travel to Carolina International for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 4. Corvian Community will confront a Comets team coming off a 61-56 non-league win over Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC). The Comets record now stands at 22-8.

With the loss, College Prep & Leadership Academy falls to 22-7 on the campaign.
