In Friday's league test, the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad defeated the host Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC), by a final score of 75-60.

Next, the Cardinals clash with the Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores test, on Tuesday, February 11. Corvian Community will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Pride come into the test with a 17-5 record after their 74-45 league win over Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC).

The Raptors (10-12) will now prepare for their test against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Bears come into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores test with a 12-11 record. In their last test, Bradford Prep went down by Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 91-57, in a league test.
