The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) and the host Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC), observed Corvian Community's basketball team overcome Christ the King by a margin of 62-49.

The Cardinals (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Spartans come into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores challenge with a 9-10 record.
