In Tuesday's league test, the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host Langtree Charter Academy Lions (Mooresville, NC), by a score of 60-49.

Next, the Cardinals encounter the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores test, on Thursday, January 30. Corvian Community will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Crusaders come into the test with a 7-10 record after their 77-67 league loss to Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC).

The Lions (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Eagles come into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores test with a 11-6 record.
