North Carolina High School Basketball - Lincoln Charter holds off Corvian Community

December 13, 2024: Denver, NC 28037

The Lincoln Charter Eagles basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals to 62 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Community School of Davidson for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores game on Tuesday, December 17. Lincoln Charter will confront a Spartans team coming off a 73-66 league loss to Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Corvian Community falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Cannon (Concord, NC) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 2-6. Cannon won 90-79 in their recent non-league game against NC GBB Academy National (Durham, NC)
