Georgia High School Soccer - Putnam County toppled by Lamar County
February 28, 2025: Barnesville, GA 30204 Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA), 10-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Lamar County moves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Jasper County (Monticello, GA) to clash with the Hurricanes in a 1A D-I Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 4. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 2-3. Jasper County lost 8-1 in their recent league test against Social Circle (Social Circle, GA)
The War Eagles now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Towers for a 1A D-I Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 4. Putnam County will clash with a Titans team coming off a 1-1 league Utopian Academy for the Arts (Ellenwood, GA). The Titans record now stands at 1-2.
