Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC), 4-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Burns advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC) to battle the Rams in a non-league match on Thursday, March 6. The Rams come into the match with a record of 0-0.

The Chargers now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Rutherford for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 4. Crest will battle a Cavaliers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-0.
