In Friday's non-league bout, the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), by a tally of 12-6.

Next up, the Chargers encounter the North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 8. Crest will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 0-6 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC).
