The Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) softball routed the visiting West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ), 13-5 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Scorpions now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Safford for a non-league outing on Friday, February 28.

With the loss, West Point moves to 1-1 on the season. The Dragons host Westwood (Mesa, AZ) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league outing on Monday, March 3.
