In Thursday's league outing, the Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI) basketball squad beat the visiting East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI), by a margin of 82-68.

The Kilties (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Thunderbolts go into the State Championship outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Cranston East was beaten by Smithfield (Esmond, RI), 65-51, in a league outing.
