Massachusetts High School Basketball - Nauset Regional holds off Barnstable
February 3, 2023: North Eastham, MA 02651 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Nauset Regional Warriors (North Eastham, MA) and the visiting Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA), saw Nauset Regional's basketball squad hold off Barnstable by a tally of 49-44.
With the victory, Nauset Regional improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Sandwich (East Sandwich, MA) to confront the Blue Knights in a Cape & Islands - Atlantic challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Blue Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-12. Sandwich lost 68-44 in their recent league challenge against Barnstable (Hyannis, MA)
Next up, the Red Hawks confront the Milford Hawks (Milford, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Barnstable will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 44-43 league win over Attleboro (Attleboro, MA).
