February 3, 2023: Manito, IL 61546 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Beardstown Tigers (Beardstown, IL) and the host Midwest Central Raiders (Manito, IL), saw Beardstown's basketball squad overcome Midwest Central by a tally of 71-55.
With the victory, Beardstown improves its record to 13-13 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Pawnee (Pawnee, IL) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 3-18. Pawnee lost 39-37 in their recent league challenge against Lutheran (Springfield, IL)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Delavan Panthers (Delavan, IL) in a Tomahawk challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Midwest Central will attempt to improve on its 11-13 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 12-14 record after their 38-35 non-league win over Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL).
