Illinois High School Basketball - Boylan Catholic overwhelms Hononegah
February 3, 2023: Rockford, IL 61103 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Boylan Catholic Titans (Rockford, IL) and the visiting Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL), saw Boylan Catholic's basketball squad wallop Hononegah by a tally of 73-44.
With the victory, Boylan Catholic improves its record to 18-9 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Guilford (Rockford, IL) to confront the Vikings in a Northern Illinois 10 challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 19-7. Guilford won 74-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL)
Next up, the Indians confront the Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL) in a Northern Illinois 10 challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Hononegah will attempt to improve on its 5-21 season record. The Blue Thunder come into the challenge with a 9-18 record after their 68-38 league win over Belvidere (Belvidere, IL).
