Illinois High School Basketball - Harlem holds off Hononegah
November 30, 2022: Rockton, IL 61072 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL) and the host Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL), saw Harlem's basketball squad hold off Hononegah by a tally of 57-53.
With the victory, Harlem improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Huskies host Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL) to confront the Blue Thunder in a Northern Illinois 10 challenge on Friday, December 2. The Blue Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Belvidere North lost 72-40 in their recent league challenge against Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL)
Next up, the Indians confront the Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL) in a Northern Illinois 10 challenge, on Friday, December 2. Hononegah will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 53-42 league win over Jefferson (Rockford, IL).
