Illinois High School Basketball - Harlem holds off Belvidere North
January 25, 2023: Belvidere, IL 61008 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL) and the host Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL), saw Harlem's basketball squad hold off Belvidere North by a tally of 52-48.
With the victory, Harlem improves its record to 9-13 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Guilford (Rockford, IL) to confront the Vikings in a Northern Illinois 10 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 16-7. Guilford won 68-45 in their recent league challenge against Hononegah (Rockton, IL)
Next up, the Blue Thunder confront the Belvidere Bucs (Belvidere, IL) in a Northern Illinois 10 challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Belvidere North will attempt to improve on its 8-17 season record. The Bucs come into the challenge with a 4-18 record after their 52-43 league loss to Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL).
