The Center Roughriders basketball team scored 88 points and held the visiting Henderson Lions to 38 in the Roughriders league triumph on Friday.

The Roughriders now sport a 23-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kilgore for a 4A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Center will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 39-37 league win over Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-12.

The Lions (6-23) will now prepare for their contest against Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Region III District 17 contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Chapel Hill triumphed over Gilmer (Gilmer, TX), 65-38, in a league contest.
