California High School Basketball - Montgomery trounces Eastlake

February 3, 2023: Chula Vista, CA 91915

The Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA) basketball crushed the host Eastlake Titans (Chula Vista, CA), 73-51 in Friday's league test.

The Aztecs (22-3) will now prepare for their test against Santa Fe Christian (Solana Beach, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 23-4 record. In their last test, Santa Fe Christian walloped Bishop's (La Jolla, CA), 77-64, in a league test.

The Titans now own a 13-13 record. They play next when they host San Ysidro for a Mesa test on Wednesday, February 8. Eastlake will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 92-86 league loss to Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 15-11.
