The Thatcher Eagles basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Empire Ravens to 37 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alchesay for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Thatcher will meet a Falcons team coming off a 75-44 league loss to Page (Page, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 7-18.

The Ravens (4-18) will now prepare for their game against Willcox (Willcox, AZ). The Cowboys enter the non-league game with a 9-15 record. In their last game, Willcox was ripped by Benson (Benson, AZ), 70-69, in a league game.
