Georgia High School Basketball - Hart County holds off Stephens County
February 3, 2023: Hartwell, GA 30643 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA) and the visiting Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA), saw Hart County's basketball squad hold off Stephens County by a tally of 69-62.
With the victory, Hart County improves its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA) to confront the Warriors in a AAA Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 15-8. Oconee County won 56-53 in their recent league challenge against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA)
Next up, the Indians confront the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) in a AAA Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Stephens County will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record. The Purple Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 20-3 record after their 68-44 league win over Hebron Christian Academy (Dacula, GA).
