Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Thunder Basin Bolts (Gillette, WY) and the visiting Laramie Plainsmen (Laramie, WY), saw Thunder Basin's basketball squad hold off Laramie by a count of 55-52.

With the victory, Thunder Basin upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Bolts travel to South (Cheyenne, WY) to play the Bison in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 4-12. South lost 102-51 in their recent league challenge against Campbell County (Gillette, WY)

Next up, the Plainsmen play the Campbell County Camels (Gillette, WY) in a 4A Northeast challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Laramie will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Camels come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 102-51 league win over South (Cheyenne, WY).
