Utah High School Basketball - Pleasant Grove thwarts Lone Peak
February 3, 2023: Pleasant Grove, UT 84062 The Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT) basketball knocked off the visiting Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT), 66-56 in Friday's league test.
The Vikings (9-10) will now prepare for their test against American Fork (American Fork, UT). The Cavemen go into the 6A Region 4 test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, American Fork went down by Corner Canyon (Draper, UT), 62-43, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Skyridge for a 6A Region 4 test on Tuesday, February 7. Lone Peak will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 63-53 league loss to Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT). The Falcons record now stands at 6-12.
