Michigan High School Basketball - Manistique nips Westwood
February 3, 2023: Manistique, MI 49854 Manistique Emeralds (Manistique, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Westwood Patriots (Ishpeming, MI), 52-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Manistique upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Emeralds travel to Gladstone (Gladstone, MI) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 5-7.
Next up, the Patriots play the Ishpeming Hematites (Ishpeming, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Westwood will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Hematites go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 66-50 league loss to Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI).
