Tennessee High School Basketball - St. Benedict at Auburndale knocked off by Memphis University
February 3, 2023: Cordova, TN 38016 The Memphis University Owls basketball team scored 65 points and held the host St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles to 48 in the Owls non-league triumph on Friday.
The Owls now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Briarcrest Christian for a Division II-AA West contest on Saturday, February 4. Memphis University will battle a Saints team coming off a 68-50 league win over Christian Brothers (Memphis, TN). The Saints record now stands at 26-2.
The Eagles (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Union City (Union City, TN). The Golden Tornadoes enter the non-league contest with a 6-16 record.
