Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears (Hanford, CA) and the host Selma Bears (Selma, CA), saw Sierra Pacific's basketball squad hold off Selma by a tally of 81-78.

With the victory, Sierra Pacific improves its record to 18-8 on the campaign. The Golden Bears host Immanuel (Reedley, CA) to play the Eagles in a Tri-County - Kings Canyon challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 9-16. Immanuel won 62-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington Union (Fresno, CA)
