February 3, 2023: Slippery Rock, PA 16057 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) and the visiting Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA), saw Slippery Rock's basketball squad overcome Sharon by a tally of 55-41.
With the victory, Slippery Rock improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA) to play the Greyhounds in a District 10 Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 2-15. Wilmington lost 53-27 in their recent league challenge against Greenville (Greenville, PA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Sharon will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 66-42 league win over East (Youngstown, OH).
