Lincoln Patriots (Sioux Falls, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Brookings Bobcats (Brookings, SD), 51-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Patriots host O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD) to play the Knights in a AA bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 10-3. O'Gorman won 49-31 in their recent league bout against Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD) in a AA bout, on Saturday, February 4. Brookings will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 49-40 non-league loss to Custer (Custer, SD).
