Illinois High School Basketball - Larkin nips Elgin
February 3, 2023: Elgin, IL 60120 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) and the host Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), saw Larkin's basketball squad hold off Elgin by a tally of 56-53.
With the victory, Larkin improves its record to 14-13 on the campaign. The Royals host Bartlett (Bartlett, IL) to play the Hawks in a Upstate Eight challenge on Monday, February 6. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-21. Bartlett lost 55-40 in their recent league challenge against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL)
Next up, the Maroons play the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) in a Upstate Eight challenge, on Monday, February 6. Elgin will attempt to improve on its 8-21 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 18-10 record after their 45-37 league loss to Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL).
