February 3, 2023: Trinity, TX 75862 In Friday's league outing, the Tarkington Longhorns (Cleveland, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX), by a count of 57-21.
The Longhorns (12-18) will now prepare for their outing against Crockett (Crockett, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region III District 23 outing with a 16-11 record. In their last outing, Crockett smashed Onalaska (Onalaska, TX), 66-53, in a league outing.
The Tigers now hold a 1-15 record. They play next when they travel to Coldspring-Oakhurst for a 3A Region III District 23 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Trinity will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 61-54 league loss to Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 7-18.
