The Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), 41-40 in Friday's league test.

The Ironmen (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC). The Gryphons go into the test with a 17-1 record.
