February 3, 2024: Monticello, IA 52310 The Bellevue Comets basketball team (Bellevue, IA), was overwhelmed 60-38 in Saturday's league battle with the host Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA)
The Panthers now possess a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camanche for a River Valley battle on Tuesday, February 6.
The Comets (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 14-6 record. In their last battle, Calamus-Wheatland trounced East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA), 83-46, in a league battle.
