February 3, 2024: Miller, SD 57362 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD) and the visiting Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD), saw Miller's basketball squad hold off Platte/Geddes by a count of 61-59.
With the victory, Miller upgrades its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Rustlers host Roncalli (Aberdeen, SD) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Roncalli lost 51-45 in their recent league challenge against Milbank (Milbank, SD)
Next up, the Black Panthers play the Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks (Armour, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Platte/Geddes will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 65-53 league loss to Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD).
