February 3, 2024: Gibson, GA 30810 The Glascock County Panthers basketball team (Gibson, GA), was nudged 56-51 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA)
The Trojans now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twiggs County for a A D2 Region 5 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Johnson County will confront a Cobras team coming off a 27-15 non-league win over Dooly County (Vienna, GA). The Cobras record now stands at 3-20.
The Panthers (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA). The Bulldogs come into the A D2 Region 5 battle with a 1-21 record. In their last battle, Georgia Military College was nudged by Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA), 63-16, in a non-league battle.
