February 3, 2025: Elmwood, IL 61529 Elmwood Trojans (Elmwood, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL), 53-36 in a league match.
With the victory, Elmwood upgrades its record to 16-12 on the year. The Trojans travel to Lewistown (Lewistown, IL) to face the Indians in a Prairieland match on Thursday, February 6. The Indians enter the match with a record of 10-16. Lewistown won 69-38 in their recent non-league match against Seymour (Payson, IL)
The Indians now sport a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Illinois Valley Central for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 5. Brimfield will face a Grey Ghosts squad coming off a 43-40 non-league loss to Hall (Spring Valley, IL). The Grey Ghosts record now stands at 18-8.
