February 4, 2022: Gaylord, MI 49735 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds (Gaylord, MI) and the visiting Mancelona Ironmen (Mancelona, MI), saw St. Mary Cathedral's basketball squad wallop Mancelona by a count of 63-18.
With the victory, St. Mary Cathedral upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Snowbirds travel to Onaway (Onaway, MI) to play the Cardinals in a Ski-Valley challenge on Wednesday, February 9. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.
Next up, the Ironmen play the Inland Lakes Bulldogs (Indian River, MI) in a Ski-Valley challenge, on Wednesday, February 9. Mancelona will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 74-36 league win over Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI).
