St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds (Gaylord, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Central Lake Trojans (Central Lake, MI), 51-44 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Mary Cathedral upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Snowbirds travel to Johannesburg-Lewiston (Johannesburg, MI) to play the Cardinals in a Ski-Valley bout on Thursday, February 17. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Johannesburg-Lewiston won 38-33 in their recent league bout against Bellaire (Bellaire, MI)

Next up, the Trojans play the Inland Lakes Bulldogs (Indian River, MI) in a Ski-Valley bout, on Thursday, February 17. Central Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 61-35 non-league loss to St.Ignace (St. Ignace, MI).
